Our Story & Purpose

Providing emergency housing assistance, career training, childcare stipends, and emotional support networks to help single mothers build prosperous, stable futures for their children.

Our Core Mission

Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Smile Foundation was born from the recognition that single mothers carry an immense burden alone every single day. Balancing full-time parenthood with financial survival often leaves little room for hope—our mission is to restore that hope and bring back genuine smiles.

We step in with non-judgmental, holistic support: emergency micro-grants for sudden rent or car repairs, childcare vouchers so mothers can attend job interviews or classes, and mentorship circles that remind every mother she has an entire community rooting for her success.
